Come and join us for a day and night of music among the trees!
Treephonia is proud to present the world premieres of six newly commissioned works by Eden Lonsdale, Lucie Cure, Joanna Ward, Kiko Shao, Hangrui Zhang and Elisabet Dijkstra in this special two-part Treephonia: Live event.
Through an eclectic exploration of trees, you will hear original chamber works that challenge our relationship with nature and the environment, playing with our perception of sonic and spatial surroundings and how we listen to and observe the world around us.
Day / Outside – Free (no registration required)
3 – 5pm
start: Hammersmith Bridge / Barnes Trail
end: Ravenscourt Park
You are invited to an outdoor trail of music and site-specific performances along the Thames and through the pathways and canopies of Ravenscourt Park.
Encounter musicians spread along the trail as you walk freely beside oaks, chestnuts, and willows and listen to music that speaks to trees and to trees that may even speak back.
Map of the trail and exact performance times and locations to be announced closer to the date.
